Patiala house - Review

 

        Patiala house is a multi starrer flick ready to hit the screens on Feb 11th. It is about a 34 year old Parghat Singh Kahlon who just woke up just the way he wakes up every morning for the last 17 years.

        He is a kind of a person who walks across Southhall, opens the corner store across the tube station, hears to the boys playing cricket in the back alley, watches his father rulling a house, a family, a community like he has for the last 25 years, silently tolerates the snide remarks and insults passed by younger generation, pours his heart out to his neighbours adopted brother, understands the bitterness of his siblings, identifies the shattered dreams of others, participates to begin the change, finally summons the courage to challenge his father and star a movement that will shake the foundation of Patiala House.

        Govinda (commonly know as chi chi bhaiyya) has been in the news lately regarding his movie Run Bhola Run. First for slapping his co-star when the poor chap mistakenly slapped Chi ChiBhaiyya harder then intended because of the formers slow reflexes. Then Chi Chi bhaiyya started to come really late to shooting and was even spotted lying flat on the floor asking for forgiveness from the director. Hmmm… Me thinks it is all part of publicity since Run Bhola Run release date is near! We give him credit for creativity.

        Run Bhola Run movie is the story of two criminals trying to escape prison and is an out and out comedy with the dash of thrill and drama. Director Neeraj Vora (Phir Hera Pheri fame director) knows his comedy too well, but what one worries about is would he be able to recreate the same magic like PHP with this cast! Actors like Amisha Patel and Celina Jaitly are not known for their comic roles (but then again they’re not even known for their serious roles).Be sure to catch Run Bhola Run review once the movie has released for now enjoy Run Bhola Run songs  and Run Bhola Run wallpapers.

        Only time will tell if this film Run Bhola Run will be a hit at the box office or not. Till then we can only hope that we get all the comedy, confusion and laughter that is promised in Run Bhola Run trailers.
